Tutorial : Creating garfitti style text in flash ...

Step 1.
Boot Flash ... for this tutorial im using flash version 4.

Step 2.
Create some text on the main stage in between each letter add a space like so ...


Step 3.
Select the line tool and draw very roughly around each letter ... you should end up with somthing like this ...


Step 4.
Move your text off stage and use the select tool to start rounding off the lines you just drew.


Step 5.
Now for the cool bit ... select each letter and slightly over lap them ...


Step 6.
Remove the lines where the letters intersect one another ...


Step 7.
Fill your text with a colour ...



Step 8.
Now you have your basic text add detail ... experiment and see what you can come up with ...

This was achieved in about 5/10 minutes imagine what a few hours could do ;0)
